CLUBS AND SOCIETIES COMMITTEE RESOURCES

FUNDING

Clubs and Societies Funding Request Form

Used to send a request to the Students' Association to request funding on behalf of your society, please return it to the Community and Societies Coordinator, requesting funding is not essential but may be a helpful resource to help your group achieve it's core activity or aims.

EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES

Template Risk Assessment

This resource can be downloaded, completed and sent to the Community and Societies Coordinator, and must be done so in advance of an event or activity on campus outside of the Students' Association building on 20 Scott Street, events and activities off-campus in particular, and also activities within the Students' Association building, these could be regular activities or one-off events. Contact the coordinator for support with completing it if required.

Example Risk Assessment

This resource is an example of a compelted risk assessment and students may wish to download this to understand how a completed risk assessment should look.

Event Profit and Loss Spreadsheet

This spreadsheet will help any student organising an event to consider and make note of your incoming and outgoing money's with the project. The spreadsheet is set up for running a music or DJ event but students can edit the document to be more reflective of whatever event they are organising - large or small - where you need to consider incoming and outgoing money and even ticketing pricing. It is encouraged to meet with the Community and Societies Coordinator at the Students' Association when your event is aiming to create profit or breakeven so they can provide further support and advice.

Building & Technical Specifications

Using the project spaces? Need to know what tech we have or what the room sizes are? Then this is the document you need!
