This workshop will introduce mutual aid strategies for trans healthcare. We’ll make space to consider problems facing trans and non-binary people when it comes to accessing healthcare, and how community-run alternatives can help to address problems and intervene in excessive waiting times. We’ll consider how do develop collective strategies of support, build capacity within the community and how to pool resources. The workshop will take time to discuss and dream utopian possibilities for gender affirmation.

The workshop is open to all trans, non-binary and genderqueer people.

The workshop is run by a former member of Edinburgh Action for Trans Health.

Also welcome for people outside of GSA to join.

Trans* and non-binary exclusive event = This event is exclusively for trans, intersex, non-binary, and gender non-conforming folk. The space will centre trans* experiences. We only ask that you self-identify as being a part of this community before booking a ticket - there will be no judgement of your identiy or expression on the door!
