Join us for an online reading group where we will be digging into a reading by the incredible writer and activist Travis Alabanza. It will be a welcoming and friendly space faciliated by Ted and Ruby to chat through the reading and recommend other queer and trans writers to each other!

Once who has signed up you will recieve a zoom link before the event, as well as an audio recording of the text (Chapter 1 of None of the Above). There are copies of Travis' book in the GSA Library too.

In Shon Faye's 2021 book The Transgender Issue: An Argument for Justice, she quotes Alabanza talking about their identity: "When I say trans, I also mean escape. I mean choice. I mean autonomy. I mean wanting something greater than what you told me.
